| “Women
don’t like me because I don’t shave my legs.”
About a woman dressed in drag as a woman. With the use of video, audio
and live performance this piece takes the viewer into the neurotic mind
of a twenty-eight year old woman with a serious sexual identity crisis.
This will includes; the most awkward and humiliating table dance in
history as the voices in her head speak out loud questioning her identity,
a monologue speaking of; insomnia, dreams of armpit hair growing into
wings, comically painful family stories and a nervous break down in
a shopping mall. Ending with a ritualistic dance with a seven layer
chocolate fudge cake.
