The Tic Tac Suit Feb. 1997 , “Art
on the Edge of Fashion,” Duration: 30 minutes Actions: Walking, choreographed movement which included two assistants with a task of popping the tops of each tictac case so when I went into a handstand all thetictacs fell to the floor. I created a series of suits, The Tic Tac suit, The Organ suit, the Tubing suit. The 'suit' a repeated theme in my work representing my own masculine gender identity. The Tic Tacs were a metaphorical cleansing of emotions; memories, traumas, anxieties that you hold in your body. |
